Job Description

The Head of Clinical Quality & Effectiveness holds a leadership position responsible for overseeing and advancing the quality of clinical services within a healthcare organization. This role involves developing and implementing strategies to enhance clinical effectiveness, patient outcomes, and overall quality of care. The Head of Clinical Quality & Effectiveness collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, establishes quality standards, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. This position involves data analysis to identify areas for improvement, implementing evidence-based practices, and fostering a culture of continuous quality enhancement. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are crucial for success in this role, as the Head of Clinical Quality & Effectiveness plays a key role in shaping and maintaining high standards of healthcare delivery.

The Head of Clinical Quality & Effectiveness as part of a States of Jersey Ambulance Service (SoJAS); this new and pivotal role within the Clinical Governance and Risk team provides an exciting and rewarding opportunity for any successful candidate.
Working closely with both the SoJAS senior leadership team and stakeholders, they will drive clinical excellence, enhance and create referral pathways, develop and implement new clinical models of practice and oversee all SoJAS clinical activities
