Job Description

Rula Homecare are recruiting for dedicated and compassionate Domiciliary Care Assistants within Leiston and Aldeburgh area.
You will be required to undertake the following duties but not limited to;
– Provide personal care and support to individuals in their own homes
– Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
– Help with meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders
– Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and laundry
– Accompany clients to appointments and outings
– Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
– Document and report any changes in client’s condition to the appropriate supervisor.

The Care Assistant position involves offering compassionate support and assistance to individuals in need, contributing to their overall well-being. Responsibilities encompass a range of tasks, including personal care, mobility support, medication assistance, meal preparation, and ensuring a secure living environment. With a commitment to promoting dignity and independence, the Care Assistant plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those under their care. Key qualifications for this role include a compassionate and empathetic demeanor, strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to follow instructions, and a basic understanding of health and safety protocols. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
